Charlotte McEssy Scholarship. Application due by Tuesday, February 26, 2008 (MS Word)

Graduate Studies Travel Fund. March 14, 2008, is the deadline for graduate students to apply to the Graduate Studies Travel Fund for travel between January 1, 2008, through June 30, 2008. The Graduate Studies Travel Fund (GSTF) promotes the scholarly work of graduate students by defraying all or part of the costs of travel for graduate students to present at professional meetings and conferences. The Graduate Studies Travel Fund Committee reviews the applications and makes funding recommendations to the Director of Graduate Admissions and Records, Office of Graduate Studies.

• Eligibility:
• 1. Graduate students admitted in full standing in UW Oshkosh graduate degree programs; this generally means that they are enrolled in a minimum of 6 graduate credits applicable to their degree program at the time of the travel activity. Requests to waive this requirement will be considered.
• 2. Travel activity must be a professional meeting or conference further than 50 miles from Oshkosh.
• Requests may be made for presentations that have already been given or are scheduled to be given during January 1--June 30, 2008. Applications will be available based on the potential for contribution to the applicant's professional development and his/her contribution to their field of study.

Summer 2008 Graduate Student and Faculty Collaborative Research Program
The Provost's Office and the Office of Grants & Faculty Development are pleased to announce the continuation of a program to support faculty and student collaborative research. Faculty and teaching academic staff who are currently engaged in research projects are encouraged to have graduate or undergraduate students become actively involved as collaborators in the research process. In this cycle, graduate student awards will be a $3,000 stipend and $500 for supplies and expenses. In addition, undergraduate students will receive awards of a $2,500 stipend and $500 for supplies and expenses. 2008 AAUW Scholarship Applications -- due Feb 16, 2008
Eligible students include full-time female students enrolled (or accepted, to be enrolled by Fall)
in a graduate degree program, who have both an undergraduate GPA of
3.0, and financial need.
