High School Orientation
North High School 8th grade orientation nights are either Thursday, January 11th 7:00 at Oshkosh North High School or January 16th 7:00 at Oshkosh North High School. (Pick one night.)
 West High School 8th grade orientation night will be held on February 5th, 6:30.

The Dark Side of the Internet:
Sexual Predators of Children

A free, live online demonstration and discussion of internet exploitation of children.  This presentation cites real-life examples and practical advice for anyone interested in the safety and well-being of our children. 

This program is appropriate for parents and adults   Students will not be admitted.
Where:  Oshkosh West High School     Alberta Kimball Auditorium
When:    Thursday, January 11th, 2007        6:30-8:30pm
 

• Special Agent Eric Szatkowski of the Wisconsin Department of Justice/ Division of Criminal Investigation will present to the public on internet predators and how they seduce or exploit children online.  Eric has become one of the nation’s leading undercover officers in apprehending sexual predators of children via the internet.  He has instructed on internet crimes against children to more than 43,000 people in Wisconsin and the U.S. 
• The presentation includes information about tactics of predators, discussion of the risks of online journals and blogs, and an eye-opening live demonstration of chat rooms.
• A limited number of internet related hand-outs and information will be available.
