| Best Friends – Worst Enemies |
| |
 |
Let’s face it, you’re going to have disagreements with
people from time to time – even with some of your best friends.
Learning the right way to work through conflicts is a sign you’re
growing up. So… let’s say that you did
something that has made someone else mad. What are you going to
do? Try this:
|
|
| |
| 1. Talk with each person that is mad at you separately. |
| |
| 2. Admit what you did. |
| |
| 3. Apologize. Say you are sorry. |
| |
| 4. Don’t try to explain why what you did is
ok. Don’t use words like: if, but and maybe. |
| |
| 5. Accept consequences for what you have done. Don’t
make excuses. |
| |
| 6. Ask the person to forgive you. This may not happen
right away so allow them time to think it through and deal with their
feelings. |
| |
| 7. Change the way that you behave so that you don’t
offend someone again. |
